I moved into headhunting after international work in NGOs, journalism and academia. I have an ongoing interest in education, from my PhD about the contradictions of university policy in apartheid South Africa, to teaching in universities, to adult learners and community groups in South Africa and in the UK, as well as serving as a UK school governor with responsibility for Special Educational Needs.
